Art Explorers Go Wild with Genevieve Harden – Part 1 Celebrating Cruinniú na nÓg 2020 with Draíocht’s Artists Presented by Draíocht in collaboration with Creative Fingal and Creative Ireland -9yrs
Presented by Draíocht in collaboration with Creative Fingal and Creative Ireland.
Genevieve will be showing you how to make 3 different artworks from nature, inspired by one of her favourite artists, Andy Goldsworthy. You will be adding your own style to the ideas and creations and the wonderful thing about making art from nature, is that it will disintegrate naturally over time. Firstly, Gen brings materials from the beach to the woods, and from the woods and the park to the beach, to create two striking body outlines. A wonderful surprise for anyone who finds them! Then she makes a mandala from nature materials. Watch out for the hens! Finally, she presses flowers to make beautiful cards that you can send to your loved ones.
